The Victoria Stars are pleased to announce that Mr. Steve Bottomley will be coaching the Stars for the 2004 soccer season. Mr. Bottomley has been involved in womens soccer here on the island for 10 years. Steve served as president of the Lower Island Women's Soccer League for 4 years and coached the Vic West Premier Women's team to two league championships. Prior to coaching at Vic West Steve coached womens soccer at the Juan De Fuca association. After taking a 2 year break from coaching but active as a player in the VISL Steve is looking forward to sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm with a Stars team that is due for a breakthrough season. Steve's help and support was an essential factor in the establishment of the Stars in 2001 and we are happy to renew the relationship

With many new faces and many returning faces, this team is prepared to challenge their very respectable fourth place division finish in 2001!
