A Message from the President

Welcome to the 2004 season of the Victoria Stars competing in the Pacific Coast League. We welcome all of you to visit our website at www.victoriastars.com and www.pcsl.org to learn more about this year's team, our competition and all the highlights!

We want to thank our incredible platinum sponsor, because without them, none of this would be possible. The Strathcona Hotel and Lower Island Women's Soccer Association have been behind the Stars for several years. We look forward to many more rewarding years of partnership.

We would like to welcome Steve Bottomley as the coach of the Stars this season. Steve has been involved in women's soccer here on Vancouver Island for 10 years. He served as president of the LIWSA for 4 years and coached the Vic West Premier team to two league championships . Prior to coaching at Vic West Steve also coached women's soccer at the Juan De Fuca Association.

On behalf of the Directors of the Victoria Women's Soccer Association, the players of the Stars, and the training team, we are very excited about this season and look forward to sharing this experience with you.
